The federal and New Brunswick governments are making a combined investment of $164,592 to help Edmundston-based Beaulieu Plumbing and Mechanical Inc. modernize its operations, improve its productivity and expand into new markets.

The federal government, through ACOA's Business Development Program, is providing a repayable contribution of $117,592, while the province is investing $47,000.   

The funding will help Beaulieu Plumbing and Mechanical Inc. acquire new equipment to produce specialized ducting for pneumatic applications as well as stainless steel components for the food processing industry. The equipment upgrade will also increase the company's capability in the production of industrial plumbing applications.   

Beaulieu Plumbing and Mechanical Inc. manufactures heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment as well as industrial plumbing products in NB.
