“We are very pleased to welcome Delta Air Lines back to our community,” says Jerry Staples, Halifax Robert L. Stanfield International Airport Vice President, Marketing & Business Development. “The return of Delta is great news for both business and leisure travellers with more options, more choice, and direct access to other key U.S. markets and major airline hubs,” he says.
Delta’s schedule will include flights to New York (JFK), New York (La Guardia), Detroit, Michigan and Atlanta, Georgia.
"With our service between Halifax and New York, our customers will enjoy easy nonstop access to one of the world's top business markets," notes Joe Esposito, Delta's managing director, Domestic Network Planning. "The new flights are part of a major expansion at New York-LaGuardia, and beginning in July, our Halifax customers will access convenient connections to destinations nationwide from Delta's new domestic hub at LaGuardia."
Delta Air Lines serves more than 160 million customers each year. With an industry-leading global network, Delta and the Delta Connection carriers offer service to 343 destinations in 62 countries on six continents.
