NL Rubber Coating Corp. has been awarded a $183,060 contract to put a new roof on Cowan Heights Elementary School in St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador.

The school opened in 1974 and accommodates about 400 students from kindergarten to grade 7.

The roofing project should be completed over the summer.
