On June 22, Nova Scotia awarded a $1.7-million paving contract to Dexter Construction Company Ltd. to repave 6.6 kilometres of Highway 19 (Ceilidh Trail).

Creignish Mountain Road
The road will be paved from 1.2 kms north of the intersection of Creignish Mountain Road north for 6.6 kms.

The province has budgeted $281 for road construction this year. It plans to pave 500 kms of road and resurface more than 200 kms.
