Marine Atlantic has advised that all crossings for the Argentia/North Sydney ferry service have been cancelled up to and including Saturday (June 30) due to mechanical problems with the MV Atlantic Vision.

According to Marine Atlantic’s website, customers impacted are being contacted and will be rebooked on a Port aux Basques/North Sydney ferry crossing. As a result, Marine Atlantic will refund vehicle traffic for the one-way Argentia/North Sydney crossing and provide the new Port aux Basques/North Sydney crossing free of charge.

For passengers travelling without a vehicle, Marine Atlantic will refund the one-way Argentia/North Sydney crossing, rebook a crossing on the Port aux Basques/North Sydney crossing, and will provide compensation equivalent to DRL bus fare for travel within Newfoundland.
