On Thursday, firefighters, police, EHS paramedics and the Kings County Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Team all responded to the scene of a 'Hazmat incident'.

[KENTVILLE, NS] — On Thursday, Kentville and New Minas firefighters, Kentville police, EHS paramedics and the Kings County Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Team all responded to the scene of a Hazmat incident in the morning at a business on Chipman Drive in the Annapolis Valley Regional Industrial Park.

Two people were transported to hospital from the business. The patients were said to be in stable condition.

No other information was available on their symptoms and why they had to be transported.
